Nautsilus OPC Tecnologies include means for the OPC access out of the real-time QNX
applications. The communication problems between a MS-Windows application and a QNX
application could be solved by the following set of software modules from NAUTSILUS:
- OPC Server. This runtime module under Windows NT implements OPC DA 2.0 interface. It
interacts with QNX applications through a communication DLL.
- Communication DLL. This Dinamic Link Library provide API services for OPC server
interaction with the user's QNX application through TCP/IP (delivered with the
source codes)
- QNX Application. It implements API for the communication with the user's QNX
applications and interacts with the communication DLL through the TCP/IP (delivered with
the source codes)
This software set allows fast development of OPC server for an application under QNX.
OPC-TCP Toolkit is used for the QNX/Linux to MS Windows interface program

LonWorks OPC Server for QNX and Linux is a tool for communication between a LonWorks
QNX gateway or LonWorks Linux gateway and MS Windows (NT, 2000) applications that
provide OPC interface.
The LonWorks OPC server is a standalone application which connects to any number of
LonWorks devices through TCP/IP. LonWorks OPC server sends requests to Nautsilus LonWorks
gateway which work on the QNX side.
The OPC server can be locally or remotly accessed by any number of OPC clients. The OPC
server can read or write variables. It can also advise OPC clients.
NAUTSILUS ExlinkDCS (OPC Explorer) is a smart OPC diagnostic and
communicating software tool.
ExlinkDCS consists of the following main components:
- OPC-OPC gateway
- OPC-QNX-Linux gateway
- OPC-HTTP gateway
- Data Server
- OPC Client

OPC Servers for ISaGRAF PRO Targets under QNX4, QNX6 & Linux OSs have been
developped by Nautsilus. Each OPC Server operation (start/stop) is controlled by an
ISaGRAF PRO configuration manager. The OPC Server executes READ/WRITE commands for DINT,
SINT, REAL, BOOL, TIME data types.
Each ISaGRAF PRO configuration (on a system) could work with multiple OPC Servers. The
number of the OPC Servers is equal to the ISaGRAF PRO resources for this configuration.
The ISaGRAF OPC server is a standalone application which connects to any number of
ISaGRAF targets through TCP/IP. Those targets are running on the other controllers than
the OPC server. ISaGRAF OPC Server can communicate with any target which support TCP/IP
link.
It works with standard targets from Altersys for Windows NT, OS/9, VxWorks and Nautsilus
targets for Linux and QNX. ISaGRAF OPC Server use configuration file which contains names,
types and net addresses of ISaGRAF variables. The OPC server can be locally or remotly
accessed by any number of OPC clients. The OPC server can read or write variables. It can
also advise OPC clients.
The Realflex OPC server is a standalone application which connects to any number of
Reaflex SCADA systems through TCP/IP. Realflex OPC server send requests to Nautsilus
Masterscan which work on QNX side.
The OPC server can be locally or remotly accessed by any number of OPC clients. The OPC
server can read or write variables. It can also advise OPC clients.
The Phocus/OPUS OPC server is a standalone application which connects to any number
of Phocus SCADA systems through TCP/IP.
The OPC server can be locally or remotly accessed by any number of OPC clients. The OPC
server can read or write variables. It can also advise OPC clients.
All these OPC servers are based on propriatery Nautsilus OPC Toolkit.
